My "stack" of books for today's @deweysreadathon consists of two books! Keeping it in the very creepy vibes:
My 50th finished book of the year was The Vanishing Half by Brit Bennett!
Ah Dune... Gorgeous cover... I just wish there was more action! I'm about 150 pages in and I'm hoping that something will happen soon ⏳
Starting a short-story, science fiction, compilation tonight!
Last month I signed up for the @asymptotebookclub, which specializes in translated books. The September pick was "Kaya Days" by Carl de Souza and translated from French by Jeffrey Zuckerman. De Souza is from Mauritius and writes about a young woman in search of her brother after the death of Kaya, a famous seggae musician in 1999.
